Rollaas Kopi Luwak or Rollaas Civet coffee is coffee made from superior quality Java coffee berries which have been eaten by Asian Palm Civet or Luwak which feeds on the raw, red Arabica coffee berries on the islands of East Java the Indonesian Archipelago. Luwak do not digest the inner bean of the berry, which instead are excreted and handpicked by locals the partly digested coffee beans from the excrement, washed by mountain spring water, sterilized, sun dried and roasted. Rollaas Café is part of PTPN XII business unit, a government owned Agriculture Company.engaged in the plantation commodities, so the originality is well maintained. Striving for the best quality of Kopi Luwak, PTPN XII provides a hygienic environment for the wild civets, and routinely maintains a balanced diet and medical checkup to ensure these “producers” are in top health. Brewing from Siphon, a continuous tube that allows boiled water to drain from a glass container which holds Kopi Luwak powder back to the glass container that is ready to be served at Rollaas Cafe, Kopi Luwak at Rollaas Café displays rich aromatic flavor with unique aftertaste and balanced body acidity. Only 2 tons produced each year in PTPN XII that makes Kopi Luwak the most expensive coffee in the world.

Versi Indonesia :

Rollaas Kopi luwak adalah kopi luwak yang berasal dari biji Java Coffee arabika dengan mutu superior yang dimakan oleh binatang luwak yang terdapat di perkebunan kopi di Jawa Timur, Indonesia. Luwak merupakan binatang yang memiliki naluri alami sehingga binatang ini hanya memakan buah kopi yang masak optimal.Pada saat Luwak memakan buah kopi, biji kopi mengalami proses fermentasi sempurna sekaiigus bercampur dalam perut Luwak kemudian biji kopi tersebut dikeluarkan bersama kotgran nya.

Biji kopi tersebut di kumpulkan kemudian di cuci menggunakan air mengalir dari mata air penggunungan untuk kemudian disterilisasi dan di keringkan dibawah sinar matahari sampai kadar air dalam kopi sesuai standard. Rollaas café merupakan Unit Usaha dari PTPN XII (persero ) yang merupakan perusa­haan negara dibidang perkebunan dan memiliki budidaya Binatang Luwak sendiri,sehingga keaslian dan kualitas kopi luwak yang selama ini masih dirogu­kan dapat di pertanggungjawabkan. Untuk menciptakan kualitas terbaik KOPI LUWAK, PTPN XII menyediakan sebuah lingkungan yang alami dan higenis untuk luwak liar. Rollaas Cafe juga dengan rutin menjaga makanan alami Luwak dan melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan sehingga luwak ini selalu terjaga kesehatannya.

Di Rollaas Cafe,Kopi luwak disajikan dengan menggunakan alat special yang bernama Coffee Syphon ,proses alat ini yaitu pembakaran pada tabung kaca yang berisi air kemudian uap dari air yang sudah panas ini mengalir ke tabung kaca diatasnya dan bercampur dengan bubuk kopi luwak.Kemudian air yang tercampur dengan bubuk kopi luwak tersebut,kembali ke tabung kaca tempat air mendidih untuk kemudian disajikan ke cangkir yang disediakan. Kopi luwak yang diproduksi PTPN XII ini menghasilkan aroma dan citarasa yang khas dengan tingkat keasaman dan body kopi yang seimbang ditambah lagi dengan citarasa after taste yang tidak dapat ditemukan di jenis kopi yang lain .dalam satu tahun Rollaas kopi luwak hanya dapat diproduksi sebanyak 2 ton,itulah sebabnya mengapa kopi luwak menjadi kopi.termahal di dunia
